London Art Studies & LAS Academy
London Art Studies & LAS Academy
We partnered with the online art education platform London Art Studies, and their student-focused sister site LAS Academy, to deliver the complete post-production for a series of their digital films.
Both platforms excel at making art history engaging, intimate, and completely free of unnecessary jargon, which made them a natural fit for our story-first approach.
Working closely with their lovely team, we were tasked with bringing together expert interviews, crafting bespoke motion graphics, and building a seamless, high-end edit that allows the art and the artists to truly shine.
LAS Academy: Inspiring the Next Generation
Our work also extended to LAS Academy, a dedicated sister platform designed to provide structured, accessible art history courses for children and young people aged 7 to 18. For this project, our motion graphics and editing style were tailored to be vibrant, intuitive, and educational, helping to create a welcoming digital space that sparks curiosity and welcomes the next generation of art lovers.
Outrageous Objects: Art That Shocked
We managed the post-production for Outrageous Objects, a gripping series that dives into the archives to examine famous artworks that deeply shocked the public upon their release. From the mechanical intensity of Jacob Epstein’s Rock Drill to provocative contemporary installations, each episode breaks down the cultural ripples, historic context, and public outcry surrounding a specific masterwork. Our edit focused on capturing the high-stakes narrative and tension behind these controversial pieces.
Best of British: A Diverse Landscape
For the Best of British series, we focused on celebrating the rich tapestry of the UK artistic landscape, highlighting a diverse spectrum of creators, movements, and techniques. From the hidden histories of the Camden Town Group to contemporary pioneers, we polished the grading and sound design to bring out the rich, tactile textures and subtle details of every piece, ensuring the final visual presentation feels as premium as the art itself.
