In a world filled with headlines about the climate crisis, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed. But what if we told you there's a different narrative, one of hope, action, and powerful collaboration? We’ve had the immense honour of collaborating on a film for Climate Lead, a remarkable organisation. They are a philanthropic intelligence platform that connects philanthropists with impactful, urgent climate action causes globally. This film isn't just a highlight reel, it's the final piece of an inspiring conference taking place in New York this autumn, designed to leave an audience of influential philanthropists galvanised and ready to act.

The Art of the Collage: From Mood to Motion

The film is currently in progress, and we are right at the exciting point where the vision begins to take shape. For this project, we embraced a unique collage approach, born out of a desire to create a powerful, yet informal, vessel for a mix of different quality media. We worked through several iterations of the style guide, exploring how to be sympathetic to Climate Lead’s beautiful brand guidelines while also pushing the aesthetic beyond its infancy.

These mood slides have been our creative playground, and now we are itching to get some motion in there. This bespoke artistry, where we tailor our approach to the cause, is at the heart of our work. The film we’re creating for Climate Lead is a prime example, blending animation and film to create something truly unique. We believe that celebrating the uniqueness of a cause means giving its mission a portrayal that captures the essence of its purpose.

A Global Voice: The Power of Collaboration

This project has been a true collaborative effort. The narrative is presented by the founding editor of Fix The News, Angus Hervey. Angus is a renowned Australian voice who champions human progress, sharing stories of positive change in areas from global health to clean energy. His voice is a perfect fit for a film focused on showing that despite the setbacks, humanity is still rising to meet the big challenges of our time.

The shoot from Australia has just landed, and the footage is stunning. We are now in the process of keying and grading it, weaving it into the film with the care and precision it deserves. This is where our expertise truly comes into play, blending the raw, on,set footage with our handcrafted animation to create a cohesive and visually compelling narrative.

A Partnership Built on Purpose

Every third,sector project we undertake is a heartfelt partnership, a collaboration for change. With Climate Lead, we found a partner who shares our vision of using creativity to amplify the voices of those making the world a better place. They came to us with a beautiful brand identity, a sophisticated palette of colours and a clean, simple typography. Our task has been to evolve their brand for motion, a truly collaborative joy that feels both fresh and purposeful.

This film is an end piece, a final note after a day of inspiring talks.
