Welcome to the Plume Films Blog.
Fancy a look behind the lens? Here at Plumefilms, we're pleased to invite you into our creative world. This isn't just a blog; it's our way of sharing the real nitty-gritty of putting films together. We're talking sketchbooks, fleeting thoughts, hard-won insights, brewing ideas, and all the little fragments that come from being knee-deep in a production. Think of it as a friendly chat over a cuppa, revealing the passions and occasional predicaments that shape our work.
Lifting the Lid on MARBLE: Our New Cosmic Partnership
MARBLE is forging a deep partnership with one of the South East's most iconic scientific sites: The Observatory Science Centre in Herstmonceux, East Sussex.
The project is now being realised as a spectacular outdoor live concert event for our 2026 season. We will project the immersive film and visual art onto the large façade of a main building at the Centre, setting our fusion of music and film against a backdrop synonymous with astronomical wonder.
This collaboration is key to bridging the divide between Art, Ecology, and Space and engaging cross disciplinary audiences across Sussex.
Coming 2026.
